CLIENT REVIEW ?????
"Just want to extend a big thank you to Rob for helping me and my fiancé with the purchase of our new home. I honestly could not have asked for a better realtor. I approached Rob at the end of May letting him know we were looking to buy and what we were looking for in terms of budget, location, among other things. During the meeting he provided me a snapshot of what he was going to do, what I needed to do and people I needed to see.
Rob was very proactive and diligent. With my erratic work schedule (and my fiancé's), he was able to juggle his busy schedule around to accommodate us. There were a lot of ugly/rainy days out there in September and October where he would meet us at 7 PM even after spending a whole day doing his own showings. It was the same experience every time - a happy demeanour, prepared and any questions/concerns we had, he was ready to answer them. His professionalism and integrity is really next to none. It really cannot be understated how organized this guy is.
We completed our sale a little bit over a week ago and I couldn't be happier with place we got. My fiancé and I had a set budget in mind but we ultimately went above it (quite a bit) because Rob gave us the time and peace of mind to come to our own decisions with the information he provided us. We know how successful he is as a realtor but he never used his accolades or accomplishments as a reason to take his word. Everything was based on facts and how it would pertain to us in terms of livability and financial feasibility.
We couldn't have asked for anything more from a realtor. This was truly the best case scenario. There were no surprises. By the time things needed to get signed and money needed to be handed over to the appropriate people, we were ready. Even when his job was done with us, he would still respond promptly to any questions we had. The guy is truly passionate about his job and is very, very, very good at it. If you want an experience like mine, go see Rob.
Don't waste your time calling the realtor at your local bus stop. Give this man 30 minutes of your time and he will try his best to find something that works for you.
Thanks Rob!"

 | A Change in Tone on Inflation
In its most recent rate setting the Bank of Canada decided, once again, to hold steady at 0.25%. But in comments after the announcement, Governor Tiff Macklem sounded a new tone on inflation. He said the Bank will stand up to it, and not just let inflation manage itself.
Inflation in Canada is running at about 4.4%, more than double the Bank’s target, and it is forecast to rise even higher. Up until now Macklem has called it “transitory”, suggesting inflation would sort itself out and return to normal, once post-pandemic labour shortages and supply bottlenecks ease.
In his comments after the rate setting, Macklem revealed the Bank is now forecasting that inflation will be worse, and will last longer, than originally anticipated. And, he said, the central bank is prepared to step in to control it.
“I want to assure you that inflation is not going to stay as high as it is today, even if it is going to take somewhat longer to come down. The Bank of Canada is committed to ensuring that price increases don’t become ongoing inflation,” Macklem said.
Along with ending its Quantitative Easing bond buying program, the Bank has also moved up its launch date for rate increases to the “middle quarters” of next year, about three-months earlier than previously stated.
In “central bank speak”: “If there are new developments that are pushing inflation away from our target for longer, I think, yes, you can absolutely expect that we will be continuing to adjust our policy settings to ensure that we will get inflation back to target," said Macklem.
